Remy O’Malley heals people with touch—but every injury she cures becomes her own. Living in a household with an abusive stepfather, she has healed untold numbers of broken bones, burns, and bruises. And then one night her stepfather goes too far.
Being sent to live with her estranged father offers a clean start and she is eager to take it. Enter Asher Blackwell. Once a Protector of Healers, Asher sacrificed his senses to become immortal. Only by killing a Healer can a Protector recover their human senses. Falling in love is against the rules between these two enemies. Because Remy has the power to make Protectors human again, and when they find out, they’ll becoming for her—if Asher doesn’t kill her first.

Touched will also be released in the following languages:
“Filled with anticipation and drama, paranormal fans will love TOUCHED. The characters are so realistic; you can’t help but imagine yourself as one of them. Thrilling and chilling!” – RT Book Reviews
“A star-crossed romance highlights this series opener about a girl who has paranormal powers to heal and the boy who should be her enemy.” – Kirkus Reviews
“Remy is a refreshingly intelligent and human heroine. Through her first-person, conversational narration, the reader travels her emotional family journey with her, and teens will thrill to the romantic tension of an attraction so destructive that the couple can barely touch.” – VOYA
When I begin a book, I create a playlist. The songs I pick fit the mood of the novel, or the lyrics may reflect a certain moment or character. As I write, I listen to these songs over and over. By the time I finish a book I’ve listened to each song upwards of 100 times each. They become so a part of my process that they feel like the backbone of the story. Below is a partial list of songs that I listened to while writing Touched. A lot of these bands may be new to you, but I hope you check them out.
All songs below link to Amazon for purchase, except “You’re Not Sorry” which links to YouTube.
